Senior Consultant - Facilities Management
The opportunity
As a Senior Consultant at Proxima, focused on Property and Facilities Management, you will lead complex workstreams and manage senior stakeholders while delivering innovative solutions and driving strategic initiatives across facilities management, property operations, and real estate portfolios. You will be part of client-facing teams delivering high-impact commercial, sourcing, and supplier initiatives, supporting the development of insights, contributing to solution design, and playing an active role in delivering outcomes, not just recommendations.
This is not a passive learning role. At Proxima, we are practitioner-consultants. You will build experience quickly, take responsibility early, and work alongside clients to deliver real, measurable change.
What you’ll do
Support delivery across client engagements
Design and propose facilities management and procurement strategies that deliver maximum value, leveraging market insights, experience, and best practices.
Assist with opportunity identification, supplier research, and commercial analysis.
Identify and implement opportunities to optimize clients’ property portfolio strategy and facilities operational performance, ensuring alignment with business objectives and cost efficiency.
Management and career development
Coach and develop junior consultants.
Contribute to Proxima category thought leadership and IP.
Commercial acumen, knowledge of contract structures, models, and terms & conditions. Comfort with ambiguity.
Engage and collaborate with stakeholders
Interpret client situations and goals, utilizing market, industry, and competitive intelligence to develop high-quality operational and sourcing strategies, delivering cost savings and operational improvements.
Provide expert input into client requirements for facilities management services, property management, and operational solutions, ensuring specifications reflect industry best practices.
Lead workshops, working sessions, and day-to-day client interactions.
Work in a global, flexible model
Operate in a hybrid environment, balancing client, home, and office-based work.
Travel as required to support client delivery and team collaboration.
What you bring
Experience and skills
Deep expertise in facilities management and property categories, with understanding of supplier market, solutions, and operational strategies within procurement practices.
Strong analytical capability and confidence working with data.
Significant consulting experience, ideally within procurement or a related domain.
Proven track record leading complex client engagement.
